White Tomatoes

Harvested some more veggies from Grandpa Daniel's Farm. These white beefsteak tomatoes are among my favorites! They taste just the same as regular tomatoes, only a little milder, a little sweeter. Canned a bunch and now I have 12 jars of white stewed tomatoes (only, they look yellow). about a week ago we collected a bunch more peppers, and then went back up to his house to learn how to make Chiles Rellenos. I don't much care for spicy food, but I couldn't resist these! So good!  The only downside was Grandpa Daniel didn't warn me about the Poblano and Anaheim Pepper residue left on my hands would make them burn ALL DAY LONG!! He doesn't even notice it any more, so he forgot to mention it.  Next time I think I'll try to make them with smaller bell peppers :)
